Wondering why bid proposals are coming in so high?

Jim Cameron (Cameron-Reilly Concrete) and Al Hughbanks (Inland Asphalt) will be joining us for a discussion on the current construction climate, followed with an “Ask a Local Contractor” Q & A session. Please plan to join us, and come prepared with any questions related to design elements, bidding, and project management.

Jim Cameron started a concrete business in 1982 with a pickup truck and a wheelbarrow purchased on a Montgomery Ward’s credit card. Starting with driveways, by the end of the 80’s his company was working large subdivisions and even built rollercoaster piers, log flumes, and ride foundations for Silverwood Theme Park. Jim’s company continued to grow throughout the 90’s, and in 2003 he merged with Mike Reilly to form Cameron-Reilly. Today, Cameron-Reilly’s services include a wide range of public works construction services including demolition, drainage systems, traffic control, and earthwork and hauling.

Al Hughbanks has been a local construction fixture for more years than he cares to count. He is currently a Construction Manager and Chief Estimator for Inland Asphalt, and has been involved in countless local large construction projects.
